| What are semi-permanent eye-lash extensions?
Individual lash extensions are bonded with adhesive to your natural lashes to create a full, long-lasting look. | Will extensions harm my natural lashes?
No, because an eyelash only lives for 30 to 60 days there is no opportunity for lash damage. When your natural lashes gradually shed the extensions will simply go with them. It is important to remember to avoid salons that use stacking or bridging techniques as these methods can put tension on hair follicles and cause damage to future hair growth. | How long do the extensions last?
The lash extensions are indefinite with touch-ups every 2 – 4 weeks.
Can I wear mascara?
If you want an even more dramatic look, use gentle, NON WATERPROOF mascara that is easily removed. However we can guarantee you will leave our salon never needing to wear mascara again!
I wear contacts. Can I still get lash extensions?
Yes! Since lash extensions are not glued to your eyelid they will not conflict or interfere with your contacts or normal daily activities – we do recommend for ultimate safety to remove contacts prior to your lash appointment(s).
How long should I plan for these appointments?
The initial full-set appointment takes between 2 to 3 hours – it is very relaxing, some clients sleep! Refill appointments generally last 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. During the refill service the technician will remove (not trim) any lashes that have grown out or become loose with special adhesive remover. New extensions will be applied until the eyelashes are full and complete. They do require some maintenance and aftercare instructions must be followed for best results. Our Certified Natralash Technicians will give you more information on aftercare procedures and products that will help extend the longevity of your lush new lashes! |
